It was fabulous! Perfect in fact! Security was tight, breakfast was delicious; hot with variety. Rooms were very clean!! Highly recommend
Extremely loud hotel! We've stayed at many hotels right off the expressway, but goodness this one doesn't seem to have any soundproofing. We heard every semi. We're heavy sleepers and had earplugs in and we still woke up from the noise. We went to breakfast around 9:50 with breakfast closing in 10 minutes. The women overseeing the breakfast were very kind and kept the breakfast open later as another party came in right at 10. They didn't rush anyone and helped someone with mobility issues by carrying their tray of food.
Along our cross country road trip we had a great stay at the Hampton Inn in Mitchell, South Dakota! The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond—calling ahead to confirm our arrival and checking in on us during our stay. They also welcomed us with a sweet note and treats! The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. We also appreciated the well-maintained pet-friendly area, which made traveling with our dogs so much easier. And the breakfast? Absolutely wonderful—plenty of healthy options and everything was fresh. Highly recommend this hotel for a clean, welcoming, and convenient stop! And Mitchell is such a cute town, would have loved to spend more time exploring. Next time…
Our favorite Hampton Inn. We stay every time we travel to Sturgis or out West to see family. Everything is awesome from the spacious clean room to the well prepared breakfast. The Fitness Center was recently updated with awesome equipment. The hot tub and pool area are great! The location is easy on/off 90 and has plenty of restaurants that you can walk to.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Mitchell! The staff (special shout out to Kim and Sheila) were welcoming, the room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of great options. Convenient location right off the interstate and very quiet at night. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
I drove from Fayetteville Arkansas back to Washington and I just happened to pick this place. It was clean and the front counter was super helpful. If I ever have to come back to South Dakota I would stay here again.
Stayed overnight here for work purposes (coming from an hour away) and I thoroughly enjoyed it here! The staff is wonderful and the breakfast was great! I love that there's a fitness room and a hot tub, I definitely used both. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice. Love that Avera has a contract with this hotel, so I know where to stay whenever I'm here! Thanks!
Clean, well kept place to lay your head! Not a single complaint here. I will say the complimentary breakfast was much better than most, bed was very comfortable, and the shower head pressure was great! Plus it's walking distance to Blarneys!
